I think my new rule is that when all else fails, add brownie chunks. The brownie recipe I used for the cookies was kind of dry. It wasn’t anything like my usual brownies. I think it held together in the baking process because it was so dry.

My brothers have not stopped talking about them. I actually didn’t use your recipe, just the idea! I used my “secret” chocolate chip cookie recipe and a (shhh…box mix) Gharadeli brownies. I under cooked the brownies a little and let them chill in the fridge overnight. I then cut them into cubes and kinda pressed each cube together. oh, I also saved 1 cup of brownie batter to swirl in the cookies.

Next time i will freeze the brownie chunks so they don’t fall apart when I fold them into the cookie batter. i will also add chocolate chips. they will add melty chocolate to the cookie!

I always have to avert my eyes from the Ben and Jerry’s freezer case or I will fill my entire cart. Have you read The Greyston Bakery Cookbook? They make the brownies and blondies for Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. It’s such a great cookbook.
