one for fun, one for fancy

IMG_4558A new baby girl arrived in town.  I couldn’t resist making a mini cupcake hat for her, just for fun.  To go along with it, I also made a vine lace cap for fancier occasions.

    I think I would like to wear the fancy one, every day. It’s ever so pretty. You’re very talented indeed. I’ve only just managed to master the granny square!

    I am a much better at knitting than I am at crochet. I learned how to do a granny square about a year ago and have made 2 since then. Seems my shoulders end up in knots whenever I crochet. I must need to practice more.
